Description

Lead technical implementations and guide the team through complex Sitecore and .NET development lifecycles. Own component definitions, implementation reviews, and technical recommendations. Build templates, renderings, layouts, and shared baseline site concepts using Helix and SXA standards. Extend Sitecore configurations by customizing built-in components including site settings, jobs, pipelines, and events. Develop and expose APIs from Sitecore using REST standards and integrate applications via web services. Manage team workflows using the Gitflow branching pattern and Azure DevOps processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define technical components and review implementations for quality and adherence to standards.
  • Build templates, renderings, layouts, and shared baseline site concepts using Helix and SXA.
  • Extend Sitecore configurations by customizing built-in components such as site settings, jobs, pipelines, and events.
  • Develop and expose APIs from Sitecore using REST standards and integrate applications via web services.
  • Manage team workflows using the Gitflow branching pattern and Azure DevOps processes.

Required Skills

  • 8 to 12 years of overall experience with at least 5 years focused on Sitecore and .NET.
  • Extensive experience with Sitecore 8.2+ for multi-lingual and multi-site implementations using Helix and SXA.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework 4.5 or above.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure including App Service, Application Insights, Application Gateway, and Azure SQL.
  • Experience implementing Redis Cache and custom caching within websites.
  • Proficiency in HTML, JS, and CSS for web development and browser-based troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Sitecore hosting in Azure using Azure Search or Solr.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD environments involving Microsoft Azure, Continuous Deployment/Release, and Unicorn.
  • Experience using ORM mappers or wrappers such as Glass or Synthesis.

Preferred Skills

  • Sitecore 9.x or above certification.
  • Knowledge of Headless CMS, Hybrid implementations, Azure Functions, or Cosmos DB.
  • Familiarity with XSRF, XSS, OWASP, WCAG, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.
