Description

Lead a team of software engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality products within an Agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage team delivery by tracking work, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful releases.
• Own release quality by enforcing code reviews, unit testing, and automation practices alongside the technical lead.
• Build and scale the engineering team through direct participation in recruitment and hiring.
• Drive technical and career growth for engineers through mentorship, 1:1s, and performance management.
• Improve operational stability by monitoring system dashboards and executing action plans for platform issues.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering building highly available, scalable, and distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of 10+ engineers in an Agile product development environment.
• Hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Proven experience developing and supporting multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS products.
• Technical proficiency with Kafka and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD, and monitoring tools for SaaS architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend development experience with VueJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, HTML, or CSS.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Flink or Spark.
• Familiarity with Time Series, Graph databases, or ETL technologies.
