Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the transition of support into Tech Operations, collaborating with customer and project teams to ensure smooth handovers.
• Define and improve procedures and best practices for linear channel and system monitoring.
• Define and improve procedures and best practices for Signal Acquisition via IP, Satellite, or Fiber.
• Regularly review and report on incident management performance, ensuring timely and effective resolution of tickets.
• Assist with complex issues, providing guidance to the team to ensure smooth and fast resolutions.
• Provide TechOps Level 2 support during bank holidays, sickness, and as required by business needs.
• Oversee and manage the TechOps team to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
• Create and maintain rosters to ensure adequate team coverage and compliance with business needs.
• Ensure adherence to relevant processes and continuously improve them where necessary.
• Provide access and tools for support operations.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings and development reviews with team members to support career progression.
• Lead recurrent (bi-weekly) team meetings to discuss updates, address challenges, and share best practices.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in OTT platforms and live streaming operations
• Hands-on experience in technical operations (TechOps) for media/streaming environments
• Deep understanding of live video streaming workflows and end-to-end broadcast pipelines
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, and operational support for live systems
• Knowledge of signal acquisition methods including IP, Satellite, and Fiber-based delivery
• Experience in managing live production or streaming infrastructure in high-availability environments
• Strong understanding of video engineering concepts and streaming protocols
• Experience in leading technical operations teams and managing shift/roster planning
• Ability to handle Level 2 support and critical incident resolution during live events
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under time-sensitive conditions
• Experience in process definition, improvement, and operational governance
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills across technical and business teams
• Experience in mentoring teams and conducting performance and development reviews
• Ability to manage SLA-driven environments with high operational reliability expectations
