Description

You will provide technical support for laboratory computing operations and scientific instrumentation within a GxP environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents and requests from laboratory scientists regarding lab IT instrumentation build and maintenance.
• Assist instrument vendors with PC installation and network connectivity to the lab network.
• Maintain documentation for stand-alone scientific applications and configurations in run books.
• Manage lab systems inventory, application repositories, and standardized PC hardware deployment.
• Maintain lab systems within Active Directory Operational Units and GPO, including OS patch levels via push management tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT support experience specifically for laboratory computing operations.
• Experience working in life science laboratory environments, including GxP environments.
• Proficiency supporting Microsoft Windows OS in an enterprise Active Directory environment.
• Hands-on experience with GPO, Active Directory, and Push Management.
• Technical knowledge of SDMS, eLIMS, or similar instrument systems.
• Experience managing OS images and data backup systems.
• Proven ability to maintain scientific instrumentation and software in validated environments.
• Expertise in PC hardware troubleshooting and enterprise network connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a similar field.
