Description

Analyze business requirements for Android OS products and execute comprehensive testing strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to identify project needs and determine manual versus automated testing requirements.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test cases and test plans using functional, load, and performance techniques.
• Perform deep-layer triaging for OTA, Kernel, Protocol, and WiFi issues.
• Debug software defects in coordination with the development team and log issues in Jira.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical analysis or programming.
• Proficiency in C, Java, Python, HTML, XML, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools including Appium, Selenium IDE, and Appium Inspector.
• Practical knowledge of ADB, Android Studio, Fastboot, and Dumpsys.
• Experience with Android OS, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows platforms.
• Competency in backend testing and writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
• Experience using Jira, Bugzilla, QC, or Testrail for defect tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with network and system profiling tools like Wireshark, Batterystats, and CPU Profiler.
• Exposure to Hadoop and QTP.
