Description

Lead architectural design and development of scalable software solutions for public transit business domains.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the full SDLC, from design and coding to testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Design and develop secure, accessible software using .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
• Mentor application developers on design, assembly, and deployment of complex systems.
• Manage team tasking, code reviews, and project constraints including risk and scope.
• Research enterprise services for identity management, content management, and GIS integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and application architecture.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, and JavaScript for full-stack development.
• Strong experience with T-SQL and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing unit testing using NUnit or MSTest.
• Deep understanding of the full SDLC.
• Ability to build digital products with a focus on accessibility.
• Experience with SSRS and configuration management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevSecOps practices to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Background in designing cross-platform solutions for enterprise environments.
