Lead the technical design and development lifecycle for a web-based data entry portal.

Responsibilities

• Architect and guide the development of the data entry portal, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Draft comprehensive requirements documents, analyzing current data organization and storage strategies.
• Establish design standards and expectations for technical and user documentation.
• Interface with IT teams to ensure proposed platforms maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for selecting the best-fit business platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of expert-level experience with MS SQL Server 2008 and above.
• 5+ years of experience in MS SQL development and architecture.
• 5+ years developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
• 3+ years drafting requirement documents for web-based data entry portals.
• 3+ years of experience in application development and architecture.
• Proficiency in intermediate SQL query development and database concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server Administration and ESRI GIS.
• Ability to provide technical guidance for business platform selection and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• NCDEQ certification or experience with environmental data regulations.
