Description

You will design and lead architecture for large-scale web, mobile, and API-driven applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical architectures, including data classifications and security protections, for Architecture Review Boards.
• Lead large development initiatives by defining detailed designs, applying design patterns, and reviewing vendor work.
• Mentor technical teams through code reviews, design-implementation guidance, and security enforcement.
• Integrate comprehensive security principles, including identity management and authentication frameworks, into all design phases.
• Oversee technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and bug fix remediation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in advanced technologies, with at least 5 years as a Technical Architect.
• 6+ years in software development, including 3+ years leading development resources.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, J2EE, and microservices.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, and NoSQL concepts.
• Strong background in designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and API management.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture, including SAML, OIDC/OAuth2, and mTLS.
• Experience with architectural modeling frameworks like C4, UML, or Arc42.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Security Access Manager, App Connect Enterprise, or WebSphere.
• Knowledge of ELK stack and application performance monitoring tools.
