Description

Design and lead architectural solutions for large, complex programs, presenting them to Architecture Review Boards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical architectures, including data classifications and protections.
• Lead large, complex development initiatives and technical teams through the design-implementation phase.
• Mentor technical teams and oversee technical troubleshooting and bug fix remediation.
• Influence managers and employees to support technical goals and initiatives.
• Apply implementation methodologies and software development life cycle processes to project management.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in advanced technologies with 5+ years as a Technical Architect.
• 7+ years in development, including 3+ years leading development resources.
• Strong experience with J2EE/Java development and WebSphere Application Server.
• Deep knowledge of IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere MQ, and IBM Datapower.
• Hands-on experience architecting and building REST services using Spring Boot and Node/Express.
• Proven experience architecting, designing, and developing Microservices.
• Experience with RDBMS, Big Data, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools including Git and SVN.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience architecting and developing GraphQL Services and Apollo Studio.
• Experience developing Micro Frontend applications with React.
• Knowledge of Twelve-Factor Application Development principles.
