Description

Lead the architecture, design, and development of core software products while managing a small team of engineers. You will own the vision from problem statement to release, ensuring scalable and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and design for core software products.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to implement scalable features.
• Mentor and coach engineers to expand the team's technical capabilities and delivery quality.
• Facilitate technical discussions to produce architecturally sound engineering solutions.
• Drive a culture of high quality by developing and testing products to meet internal standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proven ability to technically lead a software development team.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with distributed messaging queues such as SQS or RabbitMQ.
• Experience building and running containerized applications using Docker.
• Experience developing On-prem or Cloud applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Agile practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git flow, and unit-testing.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Electronics, or an equivalent discipline.

Preferred Skills

• High level of knowledge regarding AWS cloud environments.
• Architecture discipline certification, such as TOGAF.
