Description

Design and implement scalable data solutions on Azure, focusing on Databricks and cloud-native architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture scope and timelines in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and documentation standards for all architecture processes.
• Enforce code quality, data security, and scalability best practices across the engineering team.
• Drive innovation by staying current with Databricks developments and optimizing query layers.
• Mentor data engineers and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in data analytics and DWH projects.
• Deep expertise in Azure Databricks notebook development and Delta Lake.
• Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and building data lakes.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively in a customer-facing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric for analytics and integration tasks.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
• Familiarity with Spark Streaming for real-time data processing.
