Architect and deliver scalable data solutions on Azure, leading engineering teams to implement secure, high-performance data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture scope and timelines in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards while maintaining thorough architecture documentation.
• Enforce best practices for code quality, data security, and scalability across the engineering team.
• Mentor data engineers and manage customer interactions through clear communication.
• Drive adoption of modern CI/CD practices and stay current with Databricks innovations.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in data analytics projects.
• Deep expertise in Azure Databricks notebook development and Delta Lake.
• Strong understanding of Azure services: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake construction.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric for analytics and integration tasks.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
• Experience with Spark Streaming for real-time data processing.
