You will guide the architectural direction of the entire eCommerce landscape across a complex, multi-team environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions across multiple eCommerce domains.
• Ensure seamless integration and system harmony between different platform components.
• Drive technical quality, consistency, and scalability across the platform.
• Mentor domain tech leads and support their professional development.
• Lead the adoption of best practices and high-quality engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, design, and architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in developing eCommerce solutions and applications.
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated architecture role.
• 5+ years of experience with commercial eCommerce tools such as SFCC, Magento, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
• Hands-on implementation experience in large, multi-domain, and multisite eCommerce projects.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Zendesk, Salsify, or RabbitMQ ESB.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in CI/CD implementation and agile development methodologies.
• Deep understanding of eCommerce functionalities including catalog management, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Preferred Skills

• Architect certification in an eCommerce tool.
