Description

Lead architectural design and fullstack development of scalable, mission-critical web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop performant web applications using Next.js for the frontend and Java for API development.
• Design, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot to support frontend functionalities and third-party integrations.
• Present low-level designs and architectural approaches prior to the development phase.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Drive quality through Extreme Programming, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux and Redux Toolkit.
• Proficiency in unit testing using Jest, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with version control using Git and branching/merging strategies.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Retail, or E-commerce industries.
• Experience with Angular or Vue frameworks.
