Description

Lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for large, complex programs. Own the full design-implementation lifecycle for development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical architectures, including data classifications and protection, for presentation to Architecture Review Boards.
• Lead large development teams through the full design-implementation lifecycle.
• Mentor technical teams and lead technical troubleshooting, including bug fix remediation.
• Architect, design, and build REST services using Spring Boot and Node/Express.
• Drive the implementation of Microservices, GraphQL services, and Micro Frontend applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in advanced technologies, with at least 5 years as a Technical Architect.
• 7+ years of development experience, including 3+ years leading development resources.
• Extensive background in J2EE/Java development and WebSphere Application Server.
• Proven experience with Microservices, Spring Boot, and Node/Express.
• Strong integration background including IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere MQ, and IBM Datapower.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, Big Data, and various RDBMS.
• Proficiency with Git, SVN, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Deep understanding of Twelve-Factor Application Development principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Web Services, Web applications, and Mobile Application Development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kafka and Apollo Studio.
• Experience with Micro Frontend applications using React.
