Description

You will design and implement efficient data handling systems using Java and Spark. You will own the architecture for scalable storage and processing of high-frequency data.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data stores supporting scalable processing and storage.
• Configure and maintain availability for data-access tools used by data scientists.
• Write scripts, call APIs, and execute SQL queries to support data operations.
• Oversee technical tasks within a modernization initiative team.
• Ensure data cleaning, visualization, and reporting standards are met.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Advanced Java, Python, Spark, and Scala.
• 4+ years of experience with real-time data stream platforms including Kafka and Spark Streaming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Deep proficiency in Java, Spark, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including MapReduce, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
