Description

You will lead the migration of ten legacy systems into a centralized web-based Forest Service Accomplishment Portal, replacing Microsoft Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, and paper-based processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web-based modules to replace existing legacy systems.
• Architect interfaces between disparate modules to ensure seamless information sharing and data interaction.
• Develop GIS spatial components and interfaces with county tax records to extract landowner information.
• Analyze organizational work processes to build applications that meet specific business requirements.
• Implement reporting solutions to improve analytics output and accessibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience using C#.
• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS.
• 5+ years of SQL Server experience, including complex queries, triggers, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS for reporting.
• 5+ years of Esri web development experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Team Foundation Server.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the Eastern or Central time zones.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Esri ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
• Experience with ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server deployment, ArcGIS Server REST API, or Python geoprocessing scripts.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Runtime SDKs, ArcObjects, or the arcpy package.
