Description

You will lead architectural design and firmware development for enterprise networking products and controllers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for switches and network controllers.
• Integrate network solutions into overall architecture and hardware design across multiple platforms.
• Convert IEEE and IETF standards into technical design and code deliverables.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for alignment with the technology roadmap.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise networking products.
• Expert-level proficiency in C programming.
• Extensive experience with L2 protocols including xSTP, VLAN, LACP, and LLDP.
• Deep knowledge of L3 protocols including OSPF, BGP, EVPN, MPLS, and Tunnels.
• Strong operating system experience with Linux, GreenHills, or VxWorks.
• Expertise in Multicast (PIM, IGMP/MLD), IPv6, and Security (RADIUS/TACACS, SSH, Access Control, ACL/QoS).
• Experience with ASIC architectures such as Broadcom.

Preferred Skills

• Linux Device Driver experience and working knowledge of Assembly code.
• History of innovation evidenced by patents or deployed network design solutions.
