Description

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable software solutions using MarkLogic and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect MarkLogic implementations and provide technical recommendations to improve current system structures.
• Build MarkLogic REST API endpoints and design data ingestion and harmonization workflows for XML/JSON document types.
• Develop large-scale Java applications and RESTful microservices using Java 11.
• Integrate services with RabbitMQ message brokers and configure NewRelic APM with ServiceNow for performance monitoring and failure reporting.
• Conduct technical reviews and peer code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software architecture and development.
• Expertise in MarkLogic Server database.
• Proficiency in Java 11 and XQuery programming.
• Deep understanding of XML and JSON document types.
• Experience building REST API endpoints and RESTful microservices.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ for message brokering.
• Experience using NewRelic for APM and setting up alert policies.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools with ServiceNow for ticketing.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write production-ready, testable code that adheres to established architectural patterns.
