You will architect and build systems to handle complex legacy healthcare data migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automation tools to download legacy MEDITECH data into SQL Server.
• Establish table and field relationships to map hierarchical and relational data structures.
• Validate data loads by comparing record counts and totals across environments to ensure integrity.
• Manage unstructured data including external attachments, images, and PDFs linked to patient encounters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MEDITECH hospital application systems (end-user and backend configuration).
• Expertise in MEDITECH Data Model and MUMPS architecture.
• Proficiency in InterSystems IRIS, specifically Caché and IRIS versions.
• Strong SQL Server skills for schema design, data loading, and validation.
• Experience with hierarchical databases (HDBMS) and relational databases (RDBMS).
• Familiarity with MUMPS file types (Global Storage, Global Array, SQLite/Embedded).
• Experience in healthcare data schema mapping, transformation, and compliance.
• Experience customizing MEDITECH modules (ADM, ABS, MIS, DR, Clinical).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
