Description

Lead the architecture, migration, and integration of healthcare systems on Azure and AWS, focusing on HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute architecture roadmaps for migrating monolithic applications to microservices on Azure Cloud.
• Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business strategy.
• Design and implement secure, scalable integrations with EHR systems using HL7 v2, FHIR, and DICOM standards.
• Architect data strategies including Data Mesh and Data Fabric, leveraging Kubernetes, Apache Spark, and Python.
• Mentor architects and leads, establishing technical risk retirement initiatives and ensuring platform readiness for stream-aligned teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in microservices solution architecture on Azure Cloud.
• Expertise in HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, and DICOM implementations, including PACS integration and metadata ingestion.
• Proficiency in Cloverleaf middleware and extensive TCL scripting experience.
• Strong background in Azure/AWS services, including Kubernetes, API Management (APIM), and Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering tools: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Data Warehouses (e.g., Redshift).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Terraform, and automation tools.
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR) and interoperability standards (USCDI, OMOP).
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman and Bruno.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Azure Architect with preferred certifications in HL7 and FHIR.
• Proven track record leading one or two full-cycle digital transformation projects in the medical domain.
