Description

You will design and lead enterprise-grade Java SpringBoot solutions on AWS, defining architecture, APIs, and distributed system patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native, distributed systems with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
• Design high-level and low-level technical specifications, including component diagrams and sequence flows.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and define robust messaging strategies.
• Develop and maintain REST and gRPC APIs, integrating IBM ODM for rules engine requirements.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and implement structured logging, metrics, and tracing for observability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Java and SpringBoot development.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise solutions on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of API design (REST, gRPC) and caching/in-memory data grids.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency with IBM ODM or similar rules engines.
• Strong background in CI/CD practices and distributed system observability.
• Ability to create detailed technical designs and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of payment networks, card processing, or decision management systems.
• Experience with high-volume, low-latency transactional platforms in regulated environments.
