Description

You will design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure Drupal-based web architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design Drupal-based system architectures focusing on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead the development of custom Drupal modules and themes to meet specific project requirements.
• Integrate Drupal with third-party APIs and external systems.
• Optimize website performance through database optimization, caching, and server-side tuning.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of web development experience with a focus on Drupal CMS.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Experience architecting and implementing custom Drupal modules and theming.
• Deep understanding of Drupal APIs, hooks, and the theming layer.
• Knowledge of Drupal performance optimization and security best practices.
• Experience with Git and deployment tools.

Preferred Skills

• Acquia certification(s) such as Certified Drupal Developer or Site Builder.
• Experience with Symfony, Laravel, WordPress, or Joomla.
