Description

Lead service operations for WebMethods and GXS applications within the ASM framework, ensuring stability and performance of critical integration components.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident, configuration, change, and release management for WebMethods and Gateway services.
• Diagnose and resolve P1/P2 integration failures and gateway component issues.
• Manage and configure SOAP, REST, and WebSocket APIs to support business processes.
• Implement security controls using OAuth2, API keys, and access policies.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in technical architecture or service leadership roles.
• Deep proficiency with WebMethods Integration Server and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong background in REST, SOAP, and WebSocket API development and management.
• Experience with API security, including OAuth2 and threat protection mechanisms.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle or SQL Server) and tools like SQL Developer.
• Proficiency with SOAP UI for testing and validation.
• Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, and AS2.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in SOAP to REST transformation and policy enforcement.
• Experience with load balancing and message transformation within API Gateway.
