Description

You will design and lead the development of scalable, secure Java-based web applications and guide the transition of legacy systems from C to Java. You own the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including modernizing architecture to improve maintainability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices architecture using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Modernize legacy C codebases into Java, enhancing system maintainability.
• Develop Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and queries for rating and bundling processes.
• Build components for XML message processing and queue integration via JMS.
• Monitor logs to identify defects and implement solutions for risk calculation APIs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to transition and refactor systems from C to Java.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with XML processing and JMS.
• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Computer Applications.
