Description

You will produce technical documentation for aircraft maintenance and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Write AMM and IPC supplements across all ATA chapters according to airworthiness requirements.
• Analyze engineering documents including electrical/mechanical drawings, ground checks, and specifications.
• Create parts list tables and isometric illustrations.
• Develop technical documentation libraries for illustrations and reused sentences.
• Track design revisions and prepare customer documentation packages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Author or senior technical author.
• Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with SketchUp and CAD processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD literacy.
• Mechanical engineering level knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and US-written).
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Degree level education.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in aeronautics.
• Experience with Isodraw, XML, and VB Script.
• German language proficiency.
