You will translate business needs into technical specifications for API design, integration, and lifecycle management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for API development.
• Elicit and document detailed API integration requirements, sequence diagrams, and data flow models.
• Manage API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI and validate endpoints via Postman.
• Coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with integration goals.
• Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to design and execute test cases for API consumption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years focused on APIs and MuleSoft.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with API security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Proficiency with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or RAML.
• Experience with microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and tools like JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to document complex process flows and data mapping across services.
