Analyze and optimize healthcare workflows and data exchange processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and manage technical requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Map API request/response data using XML/JSON formats and FHIR resources.
• Run queries against SQL and NoSQL databases to support data exchange requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in real-time and batch data exchange scenarios.
• Support Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years as a Business Analyst in healthcare.
• Hands-on experience with API request/response mapping and data exchange using JSON and XML.
• Proficiency working with Postman and SoapUI for technical validation.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database querying.
• Deep understanding of HL7 standards (HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA).
• Proven experience working in remote or distributed team environments.
• Experience with FHIR APIs (Real-time and Bulk).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with secure data exchange protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
