Responsibilities

• Engage with portfolio managers, middle office, and trading desks to capture and analyze business needs.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog in line with strategic objectives.
• Review source code to validate and/or extract process workflows.
• Break down stories into sizable pieces for sprint length.
• Track progress, remove blockers, and promote agile best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of features and initiatives, highlighting risks and dependencies.
• Communicate status updates and findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support delivery of solutions that strengthen efficiency, transparency, and compliance in collateral processes.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data, or related field.
  • Front office and portfolio management systems experience.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets, with a solid understanding of portfolio management and trade lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic business needs.
  • Outcome-focused, with the ability to balance business priorities and technical constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with buy-side front-office and portfolio management systems such as Bloomberg, Charles River, Blackrock Aladin, or similar platforms.
• Preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills, including ability to query, validate, and interpret datasets.
  • Agile certification (CSM, PSM)
