Description

You will act as the primary liaison between engineering teams and business partners to support the development of proprietary investment and trading applications.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements by serving as a bridge between developers and stakeholders in operations, trading, compliance, and portfolio management.
• Transform user requirements into detailed epics, themes, and user stories including upfront technical analysis.
• Create application mock-ups and conduct demos for business partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet acceptance criteria and assist QA with the development of test plans and test cases.
• Train production support teams on new features, workflows, and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the investment industry.
• 5+ years of experience authoring epics, themes, and user stories.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, specifically SQL Server and data loading mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts and programming languages.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions and managing stakeholder conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of financial market data.
• Ability to identify and escalate requirement gaps to senior project and business partners.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical major.
