Description

You will bridge engineering and business teams to define requirements and validate solutions for proprietary investment and trading applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate requirements from operations, trading, compliance, and portfolio management stakeholders.
• Transform user needs into detailed epics, themes, and user stories with upfront technical analysis.
• Create application mock-ups and conduct demos to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria and assist QA with test plan development.
• Train production support teams on new features, workflows, and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the investment industry.
• 5+ years authoring epics, themes, and user stories.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, specifically SQL Server and data loading mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts and programming languages.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions and managing stakeholder conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of financial market data.
• Ability to identify and escalate requirement gaps to senior project and business partners.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical major.
