Description

You will own the analysis and delivery of payment system enhancements, focusing on the transition to ISO 20022 standards. You bridge the gap between legacy payment formats and modern messaging structures while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop use cases, functional specifications, and user stories for payment system upgrades.
• Map legacy payment formats to ISO 20022 message structures for wire and international payments.
• Define and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate payment message formats with QA.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements in payment workflows.
• Support fraud prevention, risk management, and AML compliance within payment operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or SME in payment systems.
• Deep knowledge of SWIFT messaging, including MT and ISO 20022 (MX) formats.
• Expertise in ISO 20022 message structures and payment message validation (e.g., pacs, camt).
• Experience with payment processing systems, wire transfers, and related workflows.
• Proficiency in system integrations, APIs, and core banking platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including AML considerations and network standards.
• Experience in Agile environments, participating in Scrum practices and ceremonies.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to enhance analytical efficiency and productivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SWIFT, Fedwire, and ISO 20022 implementations in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts and distributed ledger technologies.
