Description

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and .NET development teams
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases)
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with .NET architecture
• Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams during design, development, and testing phases
• Support API integrations, database interactions, and system workflows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Validate solutions through UAT support, test case reviews, and defect triage
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early—no last-minute surprises

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in technical / application development environments
• Hands-on understanding of .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, MVC)
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server / relational databases
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and system-to-system communication
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong documentation skills (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)

Technical Understanding (Must-Have)

• Ability to read and understand .NET code at a high level
• Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD concepts, and application architecture
• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise or large-scale application development
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Prior experience working with cross-functional global teams
• Domain experience (Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail) is a plus
