You will define and document business requirements to drive system development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and document detailed business requirements, analyzing problems, opportunities, and solutions for stakeholders.
• Author and update internal and external documentation, formally delivering requirements and documentation.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output.
• Improve systems by studying current state and business rules.
• Translate stakeholder requests into formal requirements and construct workflow charts and diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Figma.
• Understanding of Scrum / Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Education Data Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing technical specifications and user guides.
