Description

You will bridge the gap between Linux engineering and security architecture to optimize user access management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess current sudo and root access practices by collaborating with Linux engineers and support teams.
• Partner with security architects to design future-state user access management for Linux environments.
• Facilitate the full remediation lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, planning, testing, and validation.
• Coordinate with users and managers across business units to define the necessity of elevated access.
• Communicate technical requirements and compliance policies to diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux engineer managing and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of Linux architecture, including kernel, system libraries, file systems, and process management.
• Expertise in user and group management, permissions, and system hardening.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system issues in production settings.
• Strong task management skills to execute access management initiatives.
• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CyberArk, Centrify, or Ansible.
• Business analysis skills for documenting requirements related to access management.
