Description

You will own end-to-end delivery and support of financial services data products, from requirement intake through production support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Technical BSA for BAU and production data issues, driving root cause analysis and remediation.
• Translate financial domain needs into functional and technical specifications, including data mappings, transformations, and validation rules.
• Partner with data engineering teams to analyze existing logic, review SQL, and validate implementation alignment with business intent.
• Monitor data quality, identify issues early, and drive resolution to completion rather than simple escalation.
• Support Agile delivery by contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, story breakdown, and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst within financial services or capital markets.
• Hands-on experience supporting investment, trading, risk, operations, or regulatory reporting data platforms in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of industry-standard investment or portfolio management platforms.
• Ability to analyze SQL and code to validate data logic and implementation.
• Proven track record in root cause analysis, remediation, and prevention of recurring data issues.
• Experience collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and downstream consumers to clarify requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving process optimization, automation, and improved data controls across financial services data delivery.
• Background in ensuring data solutions meet production-grade standards for stability, accuracy, and auditability.
