Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support credit decisioning rules within the Credit Karma partner bank interface
• Translate business credit policies into structured rules and validation logic
• Perform data validation and analysis using Python (pandas, NumPy, DataFrames)
• Validate approval, decline, referral, and eligibility decisioning logic
• Work with credit bureau data, credit reports, and score-based decision frameworks
• Partner with business, technical, and rule owners to ensure alignment and accuracy
• Document requirements, current/future state processes, and rule logic
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for decisioning workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Python skills with a focus on data analysis and validation
• Experience with structured data manipulation (pandas, NumPy)
• Functional knowledge of U.S. banking, credit cards, or consumer lending
• Understanding of credit reports, credit scores, and bureau data flows
• Ability to interpret and implement business and decisioning rules
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, business-technical environment
• U.S.-based (required for production data access)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with credit platforms (e.g., Credit Karma, Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, FICO)
• Background in banking, fintech, or credit risk/decisioning environments
• Familiarity with approval/eligibility workflows in lending systems
• Experience with SQL and/or SAS
• Prior exposure to credit risk analytics or bureau reporting
