Description

You will configure and support credit decisioning rules within the Credit Karma partner bank interface, translating business credit policies into structured validation logic.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business credit policies into structured rules and validation logic for approval, decline, and referral decisions.
• Perform data validation and analysis using Python (pandas, NumPy) to ensure accuracy of decisioning workflows.
• Partner with business, technical, and rule owners to document requirements, current/future state processes, and rule logic.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for credit bureau data and score-based decision frameworks.

Required Skills

• Strong Python skills with a focus on data analysis, validation, and structured data manipulation (pandas, NumPy, DataFrames).
• Functional knowledge of U.S. banking, credit cards, or consumer lending, including credit reports and bureau data flows.
• Ability to interpret and implement business and decisioning rules in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• U.S.-based (required for production data access).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with credit platforms (e.g., Credit Karma, Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, FICO) or SQL/SAS.
• Background in banking, fintech, or credit risk/decisioning environments.
