You will translate complex healthcare insurance business requirements into actionable technical metadata and data catalog assets.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and data teams to document requirements for healthcare insurance data domains including Members, Claims, Providers, and Finance.
• Translate business definitions, rules, and processes into technical metadata, data lineage, and catalog entries.
• Build and maintain data catalog assets such as business glossaries, datasets, lineage maps, classifications, and tags.
• Support data governance policy implementation, data quality rules, and stewardship workflows.
• Conduct gap analysis on metadata to identify missing attributes and drive improvements in catalog completeness.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience, specifically as a Technical Analyst in healthcare insurance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance data domains (Claims, Member, Provider, Enrollment, Billing/Finance).
• Experience with data catalog tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC, or AWS Glue Data Catalog.
• Work experience with cloud data platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
