Description

You translate complex banking and insurance requirements into technical specifications for modern application architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze core banking, payments, risk, and compliance processes to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and sequence diagrams.
• Validate requirements using SQL queries and data analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on API-based integrations, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Manage requirements through the SDLC using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in the BFSI domain.
• Strong understanding of banking and insurance processes, including digital channels.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and requirement validation.
• Experience with API management, microservices, and modern application architectures.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Rally.
• Strong documentation skills for translating business needs into technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR, and SOX.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data migration programs.
• Certifications in CBAP, CCBA, Scrum Master, or Agile BA.
