Own end-to-end delivery and production support of financial services data products, ensuring stability, accuracy, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of financial data products from requirement intake through production support, ensuring stability and accuracy.
• Act as the primary Technical BSA for BAU and production issues, driving root cause analysis, remediation, and prevention of recurring problems.
• Translate financial domain needs into functional and technical specifications, including data mappings, transformations, and validation rules.
• Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to review SQL and code, validating that implementations align with business intent.
• Support Agile delivery by contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, story breakdown, and release readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst within financial services or capital markets.
• Strong SQL expertise, including writing, reviewing, and optimizing complex queries for independent data analysis and production issue debugging.
• Hands-on experience supporting investment, trading, risk, or regulatory reporting data platforms in a production environment.
• Ability to read and analyze existing code (SQL, Python, Java) to extract and validate underlying business logic.
• Experience working with relational data models and enterprise data platforms, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of core data concepts: source-to-target mappings, data transformations, historical vs. "as of" data, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to process optimization, automation, or data governance initiatives within financial services.
