Description

You will design and lead end-to-end architecture for enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and reliable data architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Define and enforce standards for data modeling, integration, and governance.
• Architect and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Develop technical documentation including data flows, architecture diagrams, and metadata standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or solution architecture.
• Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS (Redshift) and Azure (Synapse).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or dbt.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM).
• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards like SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Information Systems.
