Description

You will manage and maintain critical production support for DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata applications.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade DB2 z/OS to the latest supported versions and coordinate all related activities.
• Install and configure Always On HA and DR using Windows Server Failover Clustering.
• Perform performance tuning for database systems across z/OS and Windows platforms.
• Lead data modeling for new applications and system enhancements.
• Resolve production incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on expertise with DB2, including z/OS.
• Proficiency with SQL Server.
• Experience managing Teradata applications.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering and Always On HA/DR configurations.
• Ability to perform deep performance tuning on z/OS and Windows platforms.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience training junior DBAs on core database technologies.
