Description

Provides materials and process support for Commercial Airplane programs, covering design, production, and fleet support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components throughout the airplane life cycle.
• Review component materials and process specifications to control design and certification.
• Identify non-conformance impacts and implement corrective actions for electrical components.
• Conduct engineering lab failure analysis to determine root causes of component failures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for future product applications and competitive advantage.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in aerospace design, specifically with detail and assembly parts.
• Proficiency with CATIA Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT).
• Basic understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and design product structures.
• Knowledge of machining metallic parts and design product structures.
• Experience collaborating with Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.
• Ability to produce requirements, specifications, and deployment documents.
• Associate degree in drafting classification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Project management experience coordinating with multiple organizations.
• Experience working in lab environments.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
