Description

You will provide hands-on technical support for applications, desktops, and scripts within an active trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management tools.
• Deploy and sustain systems and applications utilized by end-users.
• Support hardware including desktops and servers, focusing on performance optimization.
• Manage high-touch requests from C-Level executives.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of progressive experience supporting end-user systems in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, and Domains.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS365, and Office 365.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
• Experience utilizing PowerShell for system management.
• Foundational knowledge of IP networking, routing, and system security.
• Experience supporting VOIP, SIP video conferencing, and MDM/MAM solutions.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for night and weekend on-call work and light travel.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience with Python.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux/Docker, specifically RHEL and CentOS.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with imaging solutions such as WDS or SCCM.
• Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, or similar ticketing systems.
