Description

Lead the design and development of AWS and Azure cloud architectures and technical roadmaps.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud architecture, including logical design, I/O design, and systems engineering.
• Guide system engineers and technical consultants through the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud services and operating systems.
• Integrate security, backup, and redundancy strategies into all cloud solutions.
• Monitor application performance to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Write custom scripts to automate tasks and increase system efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Proficiency with Azure services and cloud architecture analysis.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VM-Ware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of networking principles such as DNS, Load Balancers, and Reverse Proxies.
• Experience with RDBMS platforms including SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Understanding of TLS/SSL, encryption, and key management principles.
• Ability to apply High Availability and Disaster Recovery patterns.

• Experience sizing hardware and storage requirements.
• Ability to elicit program requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
