Description

You will produce and distribute technical documentation for software applications and hardware systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and publish user manuals, workbooks, reference guides, release notes, and interface documents.
• Develop service bulletins and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client infrastructure systems.
• Create network and system architecture diagrams, data flows, and process flows.
• Produce detailed how-to guides and technical documentation for complex systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on administration experience with Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
• Experience managing Red Hat Linux (RHEL 5 and 6).
• Proficiency with NetApp or other major NAS/SAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESX.
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN networking and load balancers including NetScaler and F5.
• Experience with Oracle and MSSQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with backup methodologies and disaster recovery replication.
• Working knowledge of protocols: NFS, CIFS, FTP, SSL, SSH, iSCSI, NTP, and PGP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and the Microsoft Office suite.
