Description

You will lead the development, writing, and editing of technical and administrative publications including reports, manuals, proposals, and instruction books.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit material regarding work methods, procedures, and the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
• Supervise other technical writers and review their prepared materials for accuracy and style.
• Observe production and experimental activities to determine operating procedures and technical details.
• Interview engineering and production personnel to master product technologies and production methods.
• Organize content to meet strict standards for clarity, conciseness, and terminology.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in technical writing with a focus on editing, proofreading, and copy editing.
• Practical experience editing equipment manuals, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions.
• Experience developing technical documentation including test plans, reports, and briefing materials.
• Strong skills in document editing, structure, and logic flow for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree in applied science or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
