Description

You will manage and optimize MongoDB database environments within a large-scale banking infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer MongoDB architecture, including ReplicaSet clusters and sharding configurations.
• Manage database lifecycle tasks, including patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Execute backup and restore mechanisms using Ops Manager.
• Perform performance tuning and database optimization.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in large organizations, preferably within the banking sector.
• Expertise in MongoDB database administration and architecture.
• Deep understanding of ReplicaSet clusters and MongoDB sharding.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Ops Manager.
• Proficiency in MongoDB backup/restore mechanisms and database migrations.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of MQL and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with other database technologies.
