Key Responsibilities:
•Plan and Execute Migration: Develop and implement a comprehensive migration plan for transitioning GxP lab systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
•System Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems to identify compatibility issues and ensure all lab applications and instruments are supported on Windows 10.
•Compliance Management: Ensure all migration activities comply with GxP regulations and maintain system validation throughout the process.
•Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the migration process to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition.
•Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, including validation protocols, test scripts, and user manuals.
•Training: Train lab personnel on new system features and changes post-migration to ensure seamless adoption and compliance.
•Collaboration: Work closely with IT, QA, and lab teams to coordinate migration activities and address any issues that arise.
What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system migrations, with a focus on Windows operating systems and GxP environments.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 7 and Windows 10, knowledge of GxP compliance, experience with lab systems and instruments, and strong troubleshooting skills.
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
•Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
What are the Optional skills and skill proficiencies for this position?
Preferred Qualifications:
•Certification in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
•Familiarity with automated deployment tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
